2026 Summer Interns

Get to know our 2026 Agronomy Interns!

Ag Valley Co-op is proud to announce the addition of four talented interns to their team for the summer of 2026. The interns started their summer with Ag Valley during the end of May and will be gaining hands-on experience in Agronomy Sales as part of Ag Valley’s commitment to fostering the next generation of agricultural professionals.

Ryan Babcock, from Phillipsburg, KS, is a junior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln majoring in Agribusiness. He will be working as an agronomy sales intern this summer, mentoring under James Pruet, Sales Agronomist in Norton, KS.

Brooklyn Lee, from Dolores, CO, is a senior at Fort Hayes State University majoring in Agricultural Leadership. She is completing a sales agronomy internship with Branigan Shaben, Sales Agronomist, as a mentor in Cambridge, NE.

Samantha Schultz, from Hollister, MO, is a Junior at Northwest Missouri State University studying Agriculture Sciences. She is interning with Mitch Houser, Sales Agronomist, in Cambridge, NE as a sales agronomy intern.

Hallee Sheffield, from Farnam, NE, is in her third year at Southeast Community College majoring in Ag Business. Hallee is working as an agronomy sales intern, and mentoring under Mason Weissert in Inidanola, NE.

“Our internship program is about more than giving these young people a summer job,” said Jeff Krejdl, CEO of Ag Valley Co-op. “It’s about passing on the knowledge and experience we’ve built over the years, while also learning from their fresh ideas. These interns are the future of our industry, and we’re proud to help guide them along the way.”

The internship program at Ag Valley Co-op offers hands-on experience and professional development opportunities, providing interns with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their future careers in agriculture.
