This past summer, Bailey Holtmeier joined Ag Valley as a Feed Sales Intern and shared her insights on what made the experience valuable, memorable, and career-shaping.
Bailey spent her internship working across Ag Valley’s trade territory, gaining firsthand experience in feed sales, livestock nutrition, and customer relationships. She spoke highly of the people she worked with and the supportive environment she found at Ag Valley. From day one, Bailey felt encouraged to step outside her comfort zone, ask questions, and gain confidence in her ability to work with growers. Her internship helped her build both technical knowledge and communication skills — tools she will carry with her as she pursues a future in animal science and feed sales.
